Overview

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Build responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with Designers and Backend Developers: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement design prototypes and collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data for a cohesive user experience.
• Optimize Web Performance: Ensure optimal performance of web applications by optimizing assets, reducing load times, and implementing best practices for speed and accessibility.
• Conduct Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality standards and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay Updated with Frontend Trends: Keep abreast of the latest frontend development trends, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve skills and implement innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining user-friendly web applications.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with collaborative development environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to translate wireframes and mockups into functional code.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools to enhance user experience and speed.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify and the ability to customize themes and plugins.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP) to facilitate better collaboration with backend teams.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and how to implement them in frontend development for improved search visibility.
